On Sunday I ran in my first road race, the Shamrock Shuffle. It's the world's largest 8k. I might have finished a half hour behind the race winner, but it was still a blast.
I wouldn't say I'm hooked... but I definitely could have ran a few more miles so I think I might do a longer race someday. I'll buy a bike if the car blows up... which might happen sooner than later!
